An open analytical layer for granular exchange data, built to make discovery and large-scale research feel immediate.

The problem

Turning fragmented, exchange-specific public feeds into reliable, normalized history requires resilient infrastructure and continuous operations. Paid archives reduce the collection burden, but remain costly and are typically designed for download and replay. At petabyte scale, the archive remains impractical to investigate as a whole. The data is abundant, but affordable access for large-scale analysis is missing.

The solution

Cryptfloe unlocks analytical access to granular market history by organizing it into discoverable, query-ready datasets on an open lakehouse foundation. It brings large-scale data infrastructure within reach of indie quants and growing teams, without the cost and complexity of operating the underlying data stack. Teams can move directly from questions to analysis at scale.

Open data, better markets.

High-quality market data and the infrastructure needed to work with it at scale should not be limited to a handful of firms with proprietary data systems. Cryptfloe exists to close that gap, giving indie quants and growing teams affordable access to institutional-grade data and large-scale analytical tools.

That same barrier has held back the academic study of markets. Meaningful research relies on data and on infrastructure for large-scale work, and today few scholars can reach either. We want to unlock both and put serious research within reach of academia, contributing to the open science of how financial markets work.
